Ashley’s career spans from Corporate Contributions and Foundation Management with Fortune 100 company, Intel Corporation, to the Charleston Chamber of Commerce and ownership of a small franchise home care company in Pawleys Island, then expanding the company to 5 locations across South Carolina after joining the corporate team. Her “Solutions” approach was born after working with families who needed more than just a caregiver in their home, including her own Mother, who needed not only patient advocates, but also a full team providing creative, compassionate and solution based services. She served two years as the Mission Chair for the Alzheimer’s Association, on the Executive Board for the Tidelands Health Foundation for the last 7 years, and was selected to join the Board of Directors for the Smith Medical Clinic in 2022 where she serves as the Chair of the Development Committee. Mallory Miller Munn has more than 15 years of experience in the senior care industry, earning both her bachelor’s degree in Psychology as well as her MBA from the University of South Carolina. She didn’t always know she wanted to work with seniors, but in college she began working part-time for her family’s business which provided supportive services to seniors and her passion grew from there. She takes great pleasure in the ability to help seniors and their families navigate the challenges of the aging process and identify solutions which promote quality of life. Developing and implementing solutions for her clients is her focal point; her expertise and professionalism earned her membership in the Aging Life Care Association in 2021. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. Going to the beach as a family is one of her favorite activities to refuel and reset. In the fall you will find her cheering on the University of South Carolina gamecock’s football team.

Joy grew up knowing she was going to do something in the medical field. As a young girl, she played paramedic with her dolls who always needed rescuing, fixing, and loving. Following her heart, Joy started nursing school with plans to work in pediatrics. However, during her second year of school, she was assigned a rotation in Geriatrics and she’s never looked back. Not surprising to those who know Joy, once she started working with patients in her program, she fell in love with them with all her heart and with her deep faith guiding her, knew that God had placed her on earth to do this work. She has been working in geriatric skilled nursing and hospice care for more than 25 years and has developed into a highly regarded advocate and respected care manager, accepted into the Aging Life Care Association as a Certified Care Manager in 2022. Georgetown has been her home for all of her life. For the past 28 years, she’s been living there happily with her husband Stevie, where they raised their two boys and soon to welcome their first grandchild to the family. Joy stays busy with her church, friends, and family–which includes her Boykin, Ryder–who is anxious for her to be home and happy to play fetch for hours...or at least until Dad comes home, and then he’s the favorite!

Marsha Garrett has dedicated the past 27 years to senior care, beginning her journey in 1997 in Charlotte. From her very first role, Marsha recognized her work with seniors as a true calling, particularly supporting those affected by memory loss, including both the diagnosed individuals and their family caregivers.
During her eight years in Charleston, Marsha gained valuable experience in two residential communities. Her most significant professional growth occurred when she joined a reputable Geriatric Care Management and Home Care company, which deepened her understanding of the vital role care management plays in senior care. In 2009, she moved to Columbia, SC, where she served as the Development Director for the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI-SC). After two years, Marsha realized she missed her hands-on work in elder care and transitioned into a Marketing Director role for a standalone residential community focused on Alzheimer’s and dementia care. This led to her appointment as the first Community Resource Director for a cutting-edge memory care community. In 2019, Marsha joined Oakleaf Village of Lexington, an assisted living and memory care community, working in the Marketing department. She also co-produced and co-hosted a weekly radio show, “Positive Points on Aging.”
A natural connector, one of Marsha’s proudest achievements was founding the Lowcountry Senior Network (LSN), a thriving organization that continues to provide valuable networking opportunities for healthcare leaders in Charleston. In the Columbia area, she served as President of the Senior Care Professionals of the Midlands (SCPM), a network of 60 member companies. For the past decade, Marsha has been on the planning committee for the Caregivers Coalition Annual Symposium, which provides essential resources and support for family caregivers. She has been an active volunteer for over 30 years, organizing special events and serving on boards to raise awareness and funds for charitable causes. Marsha also chaired the 2022 Walk to End Alzheimer’s and continues to serve on the board of The Shepherd’s Center of Lexington, where she teaches courses on Brain Fitness and senior resource management (“Managing the Maze”).
Marsha lives in Chapin, SC, with her husband David and their lively dog, Itsy, who keeps them entertained. Together, they enjoy watching college sports and spending time with their family, especially their seven grandchildren.
