Ashley’s career spans from Corporate Contributions and Foundation Management with Fortune 100 company, Intel Corporation, to the Charleston Chamber of Commerce and ownership of a small franchise home care company in Pawleys Island, then expanding the company to 5 locations across South Carolina after joining the corporate team. Her “Solutions” approach was born after working with families who needed more than just a caregiver in their home, including her own Mother, who needed not only patient advocates, but also a full team providing creative, compassionate and solution based services. She served two years as the Mission Chair for the Alzheimer’s Association, on the Executive Board for the Tidelands Health Foundation for the last 7 years, and was selected to join the Board of Directors for the Smith Medical Clinic in 2022 where she serves as the Chair of the Development Committee. She enjoys traveling with her family and friends, and is always looking for the perfect sunset. She and her husband Noel have been married 28 years and have three amazing sons.

Mari Sitton Ford was born and raised in Greenville. She attended the University of South Carolina, where she earned a degree in Business Administration, followed by a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. During her graduate studies, she discovered her passion for working with the geriatric population—an area of healthcare that she continues to consider her greatest calling and blessing.
With more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Mari has served as a clinician, certified dementia specialist, and dedicated advocate for seniors and their families. Most recently, she held the role of Director of Rehabilitation at a local senior living community, where she worked to enhance the quality of life and independence of residents. She considers it an honor and privilege to serve seniors and support them in living life to the fullest.
Outside of her professional work, Mari enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeep, their two sons, Finn and Sitton, and their Boykin Spaniel, Tilly. The family especially cherishes time at Pawleys Island, where they enjoy beach days, boating, and fishing. She also loves traveling with friends, being involved with their church, St. Paul’s, and volunteering in the community.
Mari has proudly served as a team captain and fundraising committee chair for the Alzheimer’s Association and has contributed to committees for March of Dimes and United Way. A passionate advocate for service, she has also participated in medical mission trips to Uganda and Nicaragua, as part of the therapy and wound care team providing medical outreach to communities with limited resources. For Mari, serving others is not only a career but a source of immense joy and fulfillment.

Joy grew up knowing she was going to do something in the medical field. As a young girl, she played paramedic with her dolls who always needed rescuing, fixing, and loving. Following her heart, Joy started nursing school with plans to work in pediatrics. However, during her second year of school, she was assigned a rotation in Geriatrics and she’s never looked back. Not surprising to those who know Joy, once she started working with patients in her program, she fell in love with them with all her heart and with her deep faith guiding her, knew that God had placed her on earth to do this work. She has been working in geriatric skilled nursing and hospice care for more than 25 years and has developed into a highly regarded advocate and respected care manager, accepted into the Aging Life Care Association as a Certified Care Manager in 2022. Georgetown has been her home for all of her life. For the past 28 years, she’s been living there happily with her husband Stevie, where they raised their two boys and soon to welcome their first grandchild to the family. Joy stays busy with her church, friends, and family–which includes her Boykin, Ryder–who is anxious for her to be home and happy to play fetch for hours...or at least until Dad comes home, and then he’s the favorite!
